A weekend at the hills.

Hey there! Today's blog is basically a travelogue based on my experience of a 2 day trip to the hills of Uttrakhand. I planned this trip just the day before.

On Saturday morning, I set off for Nainital, a city of Uttrakhand. At first, the trip was boring, as there was a long 6-hour drive. But as soon as I reached the hills, there was snow everywhere. White, soft, fluffy snow! I got out of the car to see the surroundings and then continued to drive 'cause I haven't reached my final destination yet. Another couple of hours driving, and Voila!

The whole city was full of tourists as it was the weekend. The temperature there was below 1 degree Celsius. I checked in at a hotel and took some rest. In the evening, I went out for some snacks and shopping. I stopped at a Domino's restaurant and had a pizza. After that, I did some shopping while walking on the roads of Nainital. After some time, I had dinner in a local restaurant and then continued shopping while roaming in the city. After wandering in the city till 8:00 P.M., I went back to my hotel as it was becoming dark and the temperature was constantly decreasing. I was tired so I fell asleep shortly after laying in my bed. The next day, there was a little increase in the temperature as the sun had shown up. I had my breakfast, packed my stuff, and checked out of the hotel because I was headed for my next destination! After driving for 45 minutes, I reached Mukteshwar. There was snow literally everywhere! I played there, made some snowmen and did some photography. I had planned to go further, but the roads were blocked due to heavy snowfall. Sadly, I had to return back as there was nowhere else to go. Drove for another 6 hours while stopping at restaurants and I was back home till 6:30 P.M. This trip was really fun as I got to see some new places. I would really recommend y'all to visit Nainital!
