Friends

Hola amigos! Okay, so I'm not talking about the sitcom FRIENDS, I'm talking about legit friends and friendship, the relationship of mutual affection between people.

Friendship is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an association and has been studied in academic fields such as communication, sociology, social psychology, anthropology, and philosophy.

Yup, your typical relationship with your homies really has its impacts on your life, in almost every way you can imagine.

Think about it once.

Need help with studies? Hit them up.

Want to rant? Hit them up.

Wanna gossip? Hit them up.

Feeling low? Hit them up.

Feeling high? Hit them up.

Wanna see that movie that just came out? Hit them up.

Need someone's company for the gym? Hit them up.

Need advice with literally ANYTHING? Hit them up.

You have a gym buddy, movie partner, therapist, adviser, all in one!

How else can you define friendship?

Hanging out with someone every weekend, binge-watching your favorite anime, talking to them at 3 AM about random stuff, roasting people with them, teasing them? Yup this could be your usual definition of friendship.

You may not realize how amazing and unique this relationship is unless you sit and think about it once. Think about the time y'all first met, the conversations you had, how you guys met unexpectedly and clicked so well. You both went from never talking to talking every day. Crazy, isn't it?!

How does it feel to have friends?

If you'll ask this question to me, I'd say AWESOME !! Knowing that you can talk to someone at 3 AM or 3 PM about anything, without the fear of getting judged, has to be one of the best feelings ever ❤

And yeah, how can I forget online friendships?!

You're comfortable talking with them! Internet friends are separate from real-life friends as they don't know anyone in your life. You are free to tell them all about the people you know from school, work, and your community, without fear of them spreading rumors or having preconceived judgments.

I didn't know much about internet friends until I found a couple of them myself :)

Internet friendships exist. They work. And they create bonds that are as strong, if not stronger because these are not people you are judging by looks, by money, or by status. These people are people you've met because of their personalities, their likes, their interests, their standpoints, their viewpoints, and the talents that people in their 'real lives' never appreciated.

If you have a friend, be grateful for them 💝

Appreciate them time to time for the good friend they are, so you will always have someone by your side, no matter the circumstances :)
