Hey! Remember the time in March when Covid cases were hiking and we were not sure when our country would go into a lockdown too? Then came the day of 24th March, the day when we legit went to lockdown. Everyone seemed kinda excited about this quarantine thing, making Dalgona coffee, playing board games with families, giving themselves a new haircut.
But it's more than 6 months since that time and all the excitement has seemed to fade away.
6 months...6 FREAKING MONTHS!
We spent more than half of a year just staying in our houses. (My introverted self isn't upset about it though) But that's just ridiculous to even think about everything that has happened until yet. Never did I think that I won't see my school for half a year. It just sounds crazy looking back at the starting of this year and thinking how exciting everything seemed, but now we're just bored and demotivated, waiting for this damned Corona to end. So many people kept expectations from 2020, thinking it would be the year of change in their lives and now here we are, stuck in our houses. Although there are many people who would've made the best of this entire situation, investing their time, energy, and resources in the right things at the right time, there is still a good number of people whose plans got ruined, all because of Corona. Somebody planned on traveling the world, somebody thought of starting their own business, but this year didn't actually turn out to be in their favor. We still have time left though :)
I know sometimes you may feel extremely demotivated, thinking that the odds would never be in your favor, it's not like that :) It may take some time but things would get better eventually.
Today's blog was not something I was excited to post about but I felt we should take a moment to just pause and look back at everything that has happened and learn some lesson from it.
Everyone should try and live in the moment, every once in a while so we won't miss out on anything.
Even though some things have started to open once again, with safety measures, nobody knows when everything will go back to being completely normal. Nobody knows for how long employees would be working from home or students would keep studying from home. So I would only say one thing, try utilizing the time you have left :) One day your life will flash before your eyes so you gotta make sure it would be worth watching and you won't be regretting anything 💞
